Maria “Lolit” Hernandez Suplido is a medical doctor who graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine in 1995. In 2000 she was introduced to oils by her uncle, Pedro Suplido, during a visit to New York. Now a part-time artist based in Fredensborg, Denmark, she learned about Let’s Save the Brain Foundation (LST Brain) from her classmate, Dr. Jona Handumon, a Neurology graduate of UP-PGH practicing in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental.
Moved by the plight of her indigent countrymen, she is donating all the proceeds of her Art Sale to LST Brain. Get to know more about Dr. Lolit at www.mariahernandezsuplido.com and watch the video she produced showcasing her beautiful portraits entitled “Weaving and Shift”.
The only reason why we achieve wonderful things together is LOVE. This season, we are reminded that in giving, we receive, and in loving, we save lives and make them better. This is how Let’s Save The Brain Foundation kicked off the longest celebration of Christmas in the world — by being there for others, by coming together in love.
You have made Let’s Save the Brain Foundation what it is today. It is with gratitude and great honor to present to you the story of our journey for the past ten years – saving the brain and changing precious lives.
