LSTB’s thrust is helping patients, pediatric or adult with neurological disorders admitted in the Philippine General Hospital. Through LSTB, you can add years to the lives of patients who were born with hydrocephalus. You can provide aneurysm clips for patients who have subarachnoid hemorrhage. You can help a brain tumor patient fund his or her imaging.
Each donation, no matter how big or how small will come a long way in helping our patients.
In compliance with the requirement of the Dept. of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), 70% of donations must be spent on programs and only 30% on the Foundation's operations.
Since the Foundation is accredited by the Phil. Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) and is registered as a Donee Institution with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), local donations can avail of tax credits. The donor will just have to provide the following information: Donor's name (individual or corporation); address as specified in the ITR; TIN#
Donors living in the United States can avail of a tax credit by coursing their donations through the University of the Philippines Medical Alumni Society in America (UPMASA) which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
